Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026.
This policy explains what happens to information when you use toolskit.store ("ToolsKit", "we", "us"). Please read it together with our Terms of Use.
1. Data you enter into the tools
Numbers, text, JSON, dates and files you use in the tools are processed locally in your browser by JavaScript. They are not transmitted to our servers, and we do not receive or store them. Closing or reloading the page clears them.
2. Information stored in your browser
- Theme preference (light or dark) is kept in your browser's localStorage under the key tk-theme.
- CGPA grade scale you configure on the CGPA calculator is kept in localStorage under the key tk-scale.
This data stays on your device. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser settings.
3. Server logs
Like most websites, the web server that hosts ToolsKit may automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of the request. These logs are kept by our hosting provider for security and operation of the service.
4. Cookies
ToolsKit does not set its own cookies at the time of writing. Third-party services we may add in future (see below) can set cookies, and this policy will be updated before they are enabled.
5. Analytics
At the time of writing no analytics service is installed. If we add one, we will name it here, describe what it collects and, where required, ask for your consent.
6. Advertising
No advertisements are currently displayed. We intend to apply for Google AdSense. If approved, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage ad personalisation at Google Ads Settings and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK) we will show a consent notice before such cookies are used.
7. Email you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to respond and to improve the site.
8. Children
ToolsKit is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Because tool inputs are not sent to us, the only data we are likely to hold is email correspondence and server logs. Contact contact@toolskit.store to make a request.
10. Changes
We will update this page and its date when our practices change.
